The Sisters of Christ ,Cameroon Region happily welcome an additional member in the family.

It was on the dawn of the 3rd of August 2013 that Sr Shavnyuy Yvette, freely and happily committed herself ,by vows of Poverty Chastity and Obedience, as a sign of an engagement to follow Christ more closely in the congregation.

The Ceremony began with the Eucharistic celebration, the Source and Submit of all Prayers at the Novitiate Chapel in Nkongsamba. It was indeed a very solemn ,sacred and grace-filled occasion . Our hearts were uplifted in thanks to God. We pray and render immense gratitude to God for the life of Sr Shavnyuy Yvette, especially for accepting to respond to God’s Call.We pray that she may be a practical witness to Christ who is our Model, Source and Maker of Unity.
Sr Shavnyuy Yvette hails from the North West Region of Cameroon precisely from the Diocese of Kumbo. She began Postulancy in the year 2009 in Bambui with Sr Kate Morton as the Postulant Mistress.After two years she was received as a novice on the 7th of August 2011 in the Novitiate in Nkongsamba , with Sr Pascale Bouliou as novice mistress. She has made her first commitment in the hands of Sr Maria Luisa Sepulveda Candia delegated by the General Superior Sister Fransciose Caron on the 3rd of August 2013. Bravo ! ! !
