From 14th-16th September 2012

After Vezelay in 2008, Paris in 2010, the groups coming from Dordogne, Picardy and Lyon met each other at Mazille for a time of sharing, prayer and friendship.

Friday 14th:
Each group presented the results of the Orientation retained for the year:
Deepening of the spiritual masters, Francis de Sales and John Eudes
“Being artisans of communion and leaven of reconciliation …”
“Promoting respect for the life and dignity of every human being…”

Saturday 15th:
Sister Marie-Thérèse Cuoq introduced us to the Gospel contemplation of the Transfiguration:

We do just as the apostles do, we go up the hill of Carmel …we take time to meet Jesus transfigured…and tomorrow, we come down the mountain again enriched by all this time of reflection and exchange…”

In the afternoon Sister Marie André helped us to “read the signs of God’s presence in my life

Difficulties in discernment…it is not always easy to do a daily review of one’s life…

In the evening, we appreciated the projection of a video on the history of the Congregations which are at the origin of the Sisters of Christ. The Spirit has always been there across the centuries; he continues to be there today and will be there tomorrow…

Sunday 16th
We reflected on the identity with Sr Jeanine Couffin: “For you, who am I?”

Then, after a time of review and wishes for the future, we departed very happy with these days spent together. “We loved this week-end: the organisation, the deepening of the theme and the sharing…this meeting has renewed us. Thank to the sisters for their sharing and their preparation.”
