CHILI : TOWARDS A NEW MISSION

The community of Puente Alto. Sisters María Elena Vega, Emma Razafindravelo and Mirella Riquelme form this community.
We lived in Puente Alto from 1st 2011 until 4th March 2015.

It was a short time, but very significant for us. We have got to know the people living in the neighbourhood. We cannot deny that we have created links of friendship and bonds with our neighbours, with the christians in the Chapel San Pablo and the people of Maipo.

All this demands that we leave what we know: the work, the pastoral activities, and the places we have known and loved.

It is with enthusiasm that we respond to this new call of the Lord and the new Mission. Separations always have an influence on our sentiments and feelings. To say goodbye to those we know and then meet new faces requires time: as the song says, ‘walk on, walk on, without looking back’.
