Five novices take their first vows in Madagascar
Their motto is: "Lord, you know everything", Jn 21:17
The Province of Madagascar experienced a moment of grace on Monday, August 3, 2026, with the celebration of the first religious profession of five novices. Sisters Todisoanirina Marie Jeannie, Rafanjanirina Elie Francia, Rasoanjanahary Victoire Marie Sahondra, Ralantonirina Marie Claudine and Rafanirinomena Sitrakiniaina Nadya are committed to following Christ in our congregation of the Sisters of Christ.

Their motto is: "Lord, you know everything", Jn 21:17, the Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Father Jeannot, pastor of the parish of Notre-Dame de Lourdes, Ambatolampy, surrounded by his collaborators as well as Father Marc Emilien, associate.
In his homily, the celebrant recalled that love is the foundation of all Christian life, especially in the midst of diversity. Inspired by the dialogue between Jesus and St. Peter, he stressed that God loves, trusts and sends everyone on mission to care for his people. The newly professed are thus called to become witnesses of this love within the Church, wherever they are sent.

At the end of the profession of vows, the new sisters received the Constitutions of the Congregation as well as the cross, symbols of their commitment. Sister Ravaoarisoa Simone, Provincial, presented to them the meaning of this and invited them to make them essential landmarks in their religious life.
During the same celebration, Sister Jeannie Claudine renewed her vows for a third triennium.

On behalf of the six sisters, their representative expressed her gratitude to Sister Ramoravelo Emmerentiene, Superior General, Sister Raharisoa Marianne, her councilor, Sister Ravaoarisoa Simone, Provincial, as well as the members of her council. She also thanked the trainers, parents, accompanists and all the people who supported them throughout their training journey. May the Congregation of the Sisters of Christ continue its development and flourish more in the service of the Church.
The newly professed sisters are now sent on mission to the communities as follows: Nadya to Mahandraza, Jeannie to Andranobe, Claudine to Anjozorobe, Fanja to Behenjy, Sahondra to Ampandratokana. Sister Jeannie Claudine sent to the community of Port-Berger.
