The opening of this jubilee of the 50th anniversary of the Congregation of the Sisters of Christ was on August 6, 2025.

The Fanantenana Soanierana Antananarivo community began the celebration on Saturday, August 2 with the Sacrament of Penance. The celebration was preceded by a triduum in the community. The opening Mass was celebrated at the parish of Our Lady of Suffrage, Soanierana, in the presence of the associates and the faithful. Father Ndrina, parish priest, presided over the Mass.

During the three days that preceded it, each community of Soanierana, Sainte Chantal and Fanantenana organized its own times of prayer and thanksgiving. On August 6, they all met together to celebrate the solemn Mass in the parish.

The celebration was followed by a fraternal meal.
