The day of recollection of the religious men and women was well organized
The day of recollection of the religious men and women
The purpose of this recollection was to help the religious to prepare for the feast of Christmas. The day began with the prayer of Lauds, led by the Trinitarian Sisters of Rome.

This prayer was followed by a lecture given by a Vincentian priest, Father Pierre Augustin. The recollection was based on the sign of listening, interior renewal and fraternity.
Based on the Gospel according to Saint John 1:38: "Rabbi, where do you live? Father Pierre emphasised that it is Jesus himself who calls, and that he always calls out of love. Responding to this call requires a heart that is available, ready to let itself be led and to remain close to the Lord.
THIS RECOLLECTION WAS A PRECIOUS MOMENT... TO LEAVE WITH A RENEWED ENTHUSIASM IN THE SERVICE OF GOD AND HIS PEOPLE.

During his speech, the speaker insisted on the need for interior detachment to serve the Church well, Mt 19:25. He highlighted the essential attitudes that must characterize every religious: "A good spirit, exemplary behaviour, and a fraternal and benevolent relationship with collaborators." Accepting our weaknesses while moving forward with courage is very important for our consecration.

The meeting took place in a simple, prayerful and fraternal atmosphere. The two communities of the Sisters of Christ of the diocese participated fully in this day, bearing witness to the charism. This recollection was a precious moment to revive the grace of the call, to strengthen communion and to set out again with renewed enthusiasm in the service of God and his people.
