Extension of the diocesan bookshop of Ihosy

Extension of the diocesan bookshop

The diocesan bookshop, managed by the Sisters of Christ, is being expanded to better meet the needs of the community of Ihosy.

In the diocese of Ihosy, a new important project has begun in the service of formation. Work officially began in March 2026. On this occasion, the blessing and laying of the first stone were carried out by Father Flavien, Father Mombelli, as well as Mr. Alexis, head of the NGO Tsimoka, partner of the diocese. This moment was marked by prayer and the common will to move forward with this important work.

Currently, it is Sister Angeline who provides the service in the bookstore. With this extension, the space will be larger and will allow for an increase in the quantity and diversity of items offered for sale. In addition to books and school supplies, a cyber will also be set up to offer new services to the population.

Through this initiative, the diocese of Ihosy shows its commitment to developing concrete projects to support its mission, while meeting the current needs of the population.
