"I simply try to help people to collaborate with each other"

My name is Sister Rillindis NSAH. I am 45 years old. I have been a member of the Sisters of Christ Congregation since 1993 and I made my final vows on the feast of the Annunciation, 25th March 2009. At present, I belong to the Bambui Community in Bamenda, in the North West Region of Cameroon. I am responsable for the formation and accompaniment of the Postualnts and I facilitate the vocation ministry in our Region.

It is a great pleasure for me to meet young people who wish to follow Christ, whether as lay or as consecrated persons. When young women ask to enter our Congregation  I feel challenged and energised.
The future of religious life here is in the hands of God but it depends also on the witness we give and on our prayerfulness. I invite everyone to pray for religious vocations because there is a shortage of vocations in Cameroon too and this worries me.
Every day, I discover that with Jesus everything is possible. In my Community and in our Region in Cameroon, we are Sisters who come from different countries, different ethnicities, different cultures, yet we can live together and live our Congregation charism of unity in spite of differences and weaknesses. Above all it is the Love of Jesus that animates our consecrated life. My way of thinking and acting is transformed by everyone I meet in my commitments and in daily life.  This is enriching and it teaches me to appreciate other people’s way of living.

In my current responsibilities I simply try to help people to collaborate with each other in order to live more fully their desire to become involved in following Christ, respecting all nationalities and cultures, so that each may freely express what she has lived and seen and so enhance other people’s experience.
