2022 : ANDONAKA HIGH SCHOOL OPENS

Andonaka, a large village south of Fianarantsoa

Since the arrival of the Sisters, and with the help of the twinning Andonaka / Collège Immaculée Conception of Villeurbanne (France)

- a small health centre
- a primary school
- a secondary school

have been created. Adults, young people and children can receive care and follow courses there.

In 2021, the high school project had to be stopped because of Covid and the various natural disasters (cyclones, storms, droughts, etc.) which had impoverished the families and made it impossible for them to participate (''school fees'', donations in kind, etc.)

Thanks to a donation from the French school, work has been able to start again.

The school can open in September 2022. We are thinking of organising a small inauguration ceremony in December, which will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the secondary school, which we have dedicated to Mary's patronage, "The Nativity of Our Lady".
