The Catholic Education and Higher Education Day in Madagascar (EES-CATHO) was celebrated in the Cultural Centre of the Sacred Heart High School (E.S.S.C.A) Antanimena, on February 13, 2024. The theme of this special day was: EES-CATHOLIC, united and together, taking up the theme of the Synod. Msgr. Randrianantenaina Gabriel, Bishop of the Diocese of Tsiroanomandidy presided at the Mass. The Bishop’s message, addressed to the students of Catholic schools of higher education, was,

Eight Catholic higher education institutions from Antananarivo were present. The Mass was followed by a presentation or performance by each. They sketched out their speciality: a drama, a scene, or a sketch of their life.  It was a beautiful day of joy.

 

The EES-CATHO is a National Organization for Catholic Education and Higher Education in Madagascar. For this year 2023-2024, the members of the EES-Catho include 22 institutes of higher education, including the Catholic University of Madagascar where Sr. Claire Ravaoarisoa Voahanginirina teaches. At the same time, she is Secretary General of EES-Catho. and several of our Sisters have graduated from the EES-Catho or are in the process of studying in one or the other school.
