First Vows of the Sisters of Christ in Madagascar 2024

The Province of Madagascar has the joy of receiving 9 sisters

The Province of Madagascar had the joy of receiving nine Sisters who made their commitment to the Congregation of the
Sisters of Christ.

 

The Province of Madagascar was pleased to receive, on the feast day of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, August 15th, 2024, nine sisters, who made their commitment to the Congregation of the Sisters of Christ. After spending three days of spiritual preparation, they welcomed their parents who arrived on the evening of August 14th. The celebration of vows took place in the large chapel of the Ambatolampy reception house.

 

 

Sister Simone Ravaoarisoa, provincial, received the nine sisters. The Eucharist was presided over by the parish priest, accompanied by liturgical gestures, according to our culture.

 

 

 

 

After the Mass, all the guests such as the parents of the elected officials, the representatives of our parish and some sisters of our communities and associates shared a festive meal accompanied by folk dances.
