The community of Behenjy shares:

  DOMESTIC SCIENCE CENTRE
A session of one week each month – commencing in the month of January until month of July 2013.
We also use this time to evangelise the young women with catechesis given by the priest. Here is the programme:
• Social development, sewing, children’s’ health
• Planting of maize, beans, nuts, soya…
• Know-how of living ; interpersonal relationships
• A tour in the bush; we give singing lessons to the Christians so that all can join in the Eucharistic celebrations.

 SCHOOL
360 PUPILS. 235 PARENTS, 9 TEACHERS
A sister gives courses in pedagogy in the district to ameliorate the teaching there. 79 participated. We aim for success and the formation of the person and of all men and women so as to take our place in the schools of the surrounding area which are increasing in number.
We organised a fair in the school on the 9th, 10th and 11th May to help the school financially.

 PASTORAL MINISTRY
The APV (deepening of faith) is part of the pastoral directives of the diocese. This year, we participate in facilitating the APV in the district where we are. We have 206 groups of APV. We have set up places in which to gather so that problems can be resolved in prayer. We are charged with accompanying projects and budget resources.
We lead the reception of the different sacraments and the groups of APV. Many people receive the sacrament of marriage and the sacrament of baptism for their children. Several children and young people join the different movements.
