Sister Lydie's work with migrants and refugees

The aim of this activity is to develop self-esteem, fundamental aspects for their personal wellbeing and to take one's own life in hand.

On the 2nd and 30th September, Sister Lydie and two volunteers who are part of the team of physiologists belonging to the Global Citizenship group – a Jesuit mission for migrants and refugees – organised a workshop entitled “Self-esteem and personal well being” for immigrants who belong to the housing committee, Virgen del Carmen, in the district of Recoleta.

The dossiers were shared; these help to gather the material as it arises.
This service plays a supporting role accompanying the immigrants in their gradual integration into Chile and enables the quality of life.
