2019 Some News from MADAGASCAR

The Provincial House and the Amparibe Welcome House, of the Sisters of Christ in Madagascar, are located on St Joseph's Parish in Mahamasina.

As part of the celebration of its 150th anniversary, on March 24, 2019, it organized a pilgrimage to Ambiatibe (60 km from Antananarivo). It is the place of the martyrdom of Saint Jacques Berthieu, a Jesuit missionary.

On this occasion, thousands of Christians visited the place where Jacques Berthieu lived his Way of the Cross, similar to that of Jesus. The Rosary and a Mass brought them together.

On April 3, 2019, the Provincial Council gathered the sisters in charge of all the commissions that animate the Province: Teaching, Development, Pastoral Care, Community Services, Formation.

This meeting made it possible to define the points of attention to be implemented in our common mission: MIJORO = to be reliable, MIZARA = to share, MIFANKATIA = to love
