We are delighted to share our experiences with you, experiences in agriculture and livestock.
AGRICULTURE
Below is the method which we use for making a profit:
- Prepare in advance the compost in the months of January and February.
- The compost must have weeds, salt and cattle dung.
- It must then be turned at least three times until it is put into the ground. Pay attention not to put too much soil. Water it if dry.
- Months of September until mid-October are the best times for preparing the ground.
Sowing is done during the last week of the month of October until the month of December.
Manure is the basic product for cultivation.
The quantity of manure for cultivating soya, beans and maize:
Soya: a handful; Beans: 2 handfuls; Maize: 4 handfuls
We can say that our harvest is good this year thanks be to God.

We do not keep this knowledge for ourselves but we share it with the people around. They come and ask advice on what to do so that they too, can rejoice at the result of their work.
The breeding of milk cows has allowed us to extend our field of work. We make cheese and that works marvellously. We have so many clients. If this gives us satisfaction it is thanks to having produced a project before doing this work and important is the collaboration of each member of the community.
Our clients have said that it is thanks to the sale of cheese that they have been able to pay their children’s’ fees at school.
Encouraged with these positive results we have taken the following as a project for 2013: the renovation of the pigsty which will need a certain amount of money. We are going to do all we can to realise this project.
We have benefitted from your exemplary charity in receiving your gifts for the work which is being done in Mahandraza, Andranobe and Tsiroanomandidy. We also extend our thanks to each community. Long live the collaboration of the Sisters of Christ!
