Meeting of the Sisters of Christ of the Chilean Province, on the 8th January 2013

During the year, the sisters were invited to choose texts in the Gospel which would help them deepen the attitudes of Jesus towards everyone and in particular, communication with others and solidarity.
In community, the sisters used the praying method “lectio divina” for each text chosen.

For the session, each community was invited to make a stand showing the fruits of the “lectio divina” that had been done in community.

Each sister received 2 “bricks” on which she had to write what would help her best to live as a Sister of Christ, something which drew her attention in the sharing throughout the day, a call renewed which she felt as a commitment…
After having read aloud what had been written on the “brick”, the sisters went and stuck them to the drawing of the house which symbolised our belonging to the Congregation, to the Province and to the community where each sister has her place and participates actively in its construction , bringing something which is hers alone.

Sister Violette followed attentively the commentaries of the community of Puento Alto,

Some of what the onlookers in the texts of the Gospel did was presented using marionettes by the community of la Florida.
