When experience becomes a source of life
A training on the website
Sister María Luisa, who is in charge of the Congregation's website, gave a training on the website including the handling of the material and the criteria for the transmission of news on the website of our Congregation. She managed to captivate the attention of the young junior sisters, using various methods, such as slides, browsing the website, singing about one topic and another, dialogues and writing, etc. She asked us, as an exercise, to write a text about our internships in the communities, imagining that we would write it for the site:

Cooperating in the various nursing homes is one of the activities of the Sisters of Christ in Tréguier. They participate every Wednesday morning. They brought me there to see a little bit of their activities. As a contribution, Sr. Germaine takes care of the sacristy and goes to pick up the elderly. Sr. Marylise plays the zither so that those who arrive early will not be bored while the volunteers go to pick up the elderly to bring them to the room where there is Mass. Louisette

My stay in Épernon : It is a host community and a spiritual centre. During my stay, I participated in the sisters' activities such as cooking, serving, cleaning, gardening. Apart from that, I have experienced community life, what has marked me is the collaboration and fraternal mutual aid. Nathalie
Laure spent ten days in the community of Retournac. During this time, she participated in community and parish activities such as prayer, community tasks, decoration, relaxation and discovery of historical places such as the Château d'Artias, the Loire, the lace workshop and others. It was a time of happy sharing with the sisters and the population of Retournac, which allowed us to see how the unity between the population and the sisters is concretely lived. The welcome was warm, full of humour and love, everything went well. The sisters were happy to have her among them and showed their joy with a song to entrust her to the Virgin Mary by saying goodbye. Emilienne Laure
In the community in Merdrignac: Around the table! The meal unites hearts as much as bodies. It's the time when we talk to each other, we share, we listen to each other, and we get closer. There everyone finds the joy and happiness of being together. We care about each other according to the fragility of each one while having the meal. It is truly a sign of fraternal communion. Immense joys that we feel when we see their joy of living despite the fragility of their bodies. What a great experience I had with our elderly sisters! A few outings under the sun when the weather is nice. Smiles light up their faces as they contemplate nature and enjoy the warmth. You can also feel the enthusiasm and joy when pushing their wheelchairs. Rina Clotilde

Our ten sisters live in the Residence of Ste Sigolène (at the EHPAD). They follow the rhythm and activities of the residents. But they still have moments to be together every day (snack and vespers). Despite advanced age, there is still fraternal concern and support for one another. I have greatly admired this fraternal love that reigns in the community of our elder sisters. Francine
My stay in the community in Le Puy-en-Velay was a very precious moment for me. Sharing life with the Sisters helped me a lot to advance more deeply in my vocation. There were also their life testimonies that marked me. They made me discover and visit several places rich in history and spirituality. All these experiences strengthened my faith and enriched my experience of religious life. The organization as well as the moments spent together were very well prepared and took place in peace and serenity. Their warm welcome filled me with joy. I am very satisfied with my time with you. That is why I would like to express my sincere and profound thanks to you here. I will never forget those moments in your community; They will remain a precious memory for me. I entrust each of you to the prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Thank you very much. I send you affectionate kisses. Lucile.

At the community level in Lyon, I was deeply marked by the life of the sisters. Their simplicity, the welcome, their spirit of fraternity, their witness of life, their smile edified me a lot. Their fidelity to prayer, lived with depth, encouraged me to renew my own commitment. Albertine

I am delighted to share my experience in the community in Loudéac. I was well received by our sisters. I participated in the sisters' activities such as prayer, the sacristy, the kitchen and the garden. The community is made up of 4 sisters and the community life is simple, sociable and open to others. I had the joy of living with them and I felt the atmosphere of their lives. I thank the congregation for this great opportunity. Claudine
