Dear friends,

The Congregation of the Sisters of Christ – Union Mysterium Christi calls for your solidarity today to support one of its Cameroonian sisters who must receive specialized care in France requiring surgery. 

Out of respect for her dignity and in keeping with her wish for discretion, we do not release her photograph or personal medical details. We thank you for understanding and respecting this choice.

However, this care represents a very significant financial burden for our Congregation, which alone assumes all the expenses related to this medical evacuation and care.

Expenses already incurred or claimed

Hospital care in France

1. Provision requested by the hospital:

  • Specialist consultations
  • MRI and medical examinations
  • Hospitalization
  • Surgery
  • Post-operative care

Amount: € 22,100

2. Medical travel:

  • Sister's flight ticket
  • Companion's flight ticket

Amount: €5,264

3. Medications

  • First treatments and medications already prescribed:

Amount: €111,75

4. Rehabilitation:

Physiotherapy sessions and other complementary care will be necessary after the procedure. Their cost is not yet fully known.Rééducation :

For several years, this young nursing sister has dedicated her life to the service of God, the Church and the populations to whom she has been sent on mission.

Today, she needs our support to receive the care she needs to recover.

Every donation, even a modest one, is a concrete gesture of fraternity and hope.

6. TRANSPARENCY: All the sums collected will be allocated to the financing of:

  • medical evacuation;
  • hospital costs;
  • medicines;
  • rehabilitation and care related to this procedure.

We will communicate regularly on the surprogress of this process and thank everyone for their trust.
