Pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of St Teresa de los Andes

On Saturday 20th October more than 75 000 young people walked the 27 kms from the coast of Chacabuco to the sanctuary of St Teresa de los Andes.

The aim of this activity is to develop self-esteem, fundamental aspects for their personal wellbeing and to take one's own life in hand.

During the year, the sisters were invited to choose texts in the Gospel which would help them deepen the attitudes of Jesus towards everyone and in particular, communication with others and solidarity. In community, the sisters used the praying method “lectio divina” for each text chosen.
